As Fire Chief, I would like to be the first to welcome you to the Redwood Valley-Calpella Fire District.

Redwood Valley-Calpella Fire has a proud history of serving our community. The men and women of RVCFD are highly trained, extremely dedicated, and steadfastly focused on their core mission of service to the community - to serve you. From our paid staff to our volunteers, we are committed to providing the highest levels of service possible.

For 85 years, your Firefighters and Volunteers have bravely and successfully confronted the hazards of our growing community and continue to mitigate complex life-safety problems through education, risk management, strategic planning, and emergency deployment. We are a unique organization that strives to anticipate the needs of the citizens and have a long tradition of providing high-quality medical, rescue, and fire services to this community.

I am proud to represent such a fine organization. I am impressed daily with the professionalism, dedication, integrity, and resourcefulness of the men and women of our District and the commitment to the citizens, visitors, and businesses of Redwood Valley and Calpella. We continuously seek ways to rethink how we provide services to be more efficient, more adaptable, and more responsive to the needs of our community.

It is our commitment to you that we stand ready to assist you in your time of need day or night, with respect, professionalism, empathy, and compassion; as we have done for the past 85 years.

Sincerely,
Kerry Robinson

District Personnel

We rely on our crew of volunteer fire and EMS responders and the Fire Chief to provide the manpower to cover the needs of the community. In addition to emergency response, our volunteers help with fire and life safety education around the community and attend regular training to keep their skills and knowledge current. Along with basic fire and medical emergencies, services we provide include structural and wildland fire protection, rescue and extrication, hazardous materials response, and water rescue.

The department remains committed to the safety and health of all Redwood Valley and Calpella residents and visitors and responds accordingly.
